AFFILIATE AND REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

NYCOM has three primary affiliate organizations:

• NYS Association of City and Village Clerks
• NYS City/County Management Association
• NYS Society of Municipal Finance Officers

A representative from one of our affiliates serves as a voting member on NYCOM's sixteen-member Executive Committee for a one-year term. This is the only member of the Committee who is not a mayor, and the seat rotates among the three affiliates.

NYCOM also works closely with county-wide and regional organizations from throughout New York that represent cities and/or village governments. Additionally, in NYCOM's efforts to represent cities and villages, we regularly interact with a variety of statewide associations that have city and village officials as their members. These organizations include:

• NY Water Environmental Association, Inc.
• NYS Assessors' Association
• NYS Association of Personnel and Civil Service Officers
