The new user-friendly interface that the database offers will empower our members that have profiles in the system (containing basic information about elected and appointed officials, as well as other individuals who are employed by the municipalities) to have access to a host of features and benefits, including the ability to:
- Register For and View Upcoming Events
- Update Contact Information
- Pay Invoices
- Purchase Handbooks and Other Publications
- Respond to Surveys... and more!
In order to access the system, you will need your unique username and password. If you are employed by a municipality, it is likely that you already have an existing account (you would have received an email in August with your account information). Every NYCOM member will have a designated Primary and Alternate contact who will have additional capabilities upon logging in, including adding new members, removing members that are no longer employees, changing email and mailing addresses, renewing and paying their membership invoice through the web portal, and registering employees for events. This primary/alternate designation will be evident when you log into the system and all capabilities associated with such designation will be immediately available.
