The New York State Conference of Mayors is presenting a half-day regional workshop on municipal health insurance and the Affordable Care Act. This two-part training session will begin with a Health Insurance tutorial on the terminology, trends and calculations that are essential to one's understanding of this complex issue. This will be followed by a more in-depth presentation on the latest information regarding the Affordable Care Act and what every local official needs to know in order to successfully implement and comply with the law's requirements.
