The cost of workshop is $50 per person ($100 for non-members) 

NYCOM’s three-hour Village Elections Workshop offers an in-depth review of the village elections process. The workshop will cover the party nomination process, the independent body nominating process, challenges to nominations, voter registration, processing absentee ballot applications, handling candidate and voter residency issues, ballot preparation, election inspector appointment and training, poll watchers, election day procedures, dealing with voters not on the registration list, canvassing the vote, run-off elections, the clerk’s post-election responsibilities, and the availability of election records.

This workshop is eligible for three hours of CLE credit in the Area of Professional Practice. This CLE Course is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys and is a permissible format for newly admitted attorneys. Reimbursement - The expenses of this education and training meeting incurred by duly authorized municipal officials, officers and employees are reimbursable by cities and villages pursuant to the provisions of Section 77-b of the General Municipal Law.
