balloon

NYCOM’s Local Government Achievement Awards are intended to showcase significant and innovative projects and programs undertaken by NYCOM member cities or villages that have improved quality-of-life, resulted in cost savings, established cooperative partnerships, created new or unique approaches to issues, and/or streamlined the delivery of services. Recognition of these projects and programs allows other cities and villages to learn from these achievements.

Winning submissions will be recognized by NYCOM at an awards dinner during NYCOM's 108th Annual Meeting in May in Saratoga Springs, highlighted in an upcoming issue of the NYCOM Municipal Bulletin, featured in the Best Practices portion of the NYCOM website, recognized by the National League of Cities (NLC) with a certificate, and included in NLC's nationwide Examples Database.
